‘Sister Wives’ Fans Say Robyn Brown’s Mental Disorder Obvious
Although many Sister Wives fans have questioned Kody Brown’s state of mind with his anger over the past few years, now fans spotted behaviors in Robyn Brown that point to a mental disorder.
Robyn Brown’s Behaviors Stun Sister Wives Fans
In the Sister Wives Wedding Special, fans see a disturbing behavior in Robyn Brown that has them questioning her mental stability. With the deterioration of the plural family, Kody Brown’s anger has been very apparent. While he was struggling with the wives not following his plans, regularly became explosive. And fans have pointed out the fragility of Robyn in the past. Notably, for years, she frequently easily moves to tears amid the stressors within the family. But in the latest special, Robyn displays unhealthy behaviors that stun fans.
Fans Discuss What They Notice
On Reddit, a person talks about the way Robyn Brown acts during the Sister Wives Wedding Special. Then the initial user posts, “Robyn WANTS Kody angry.” And they proceed to discuss many points to support that topic. For instance, they talk about how Robyn’s face falls when Kody is genuinely expressing he wants Christine to be happy. As he mentions they shared a marriage for 25 years, and Robyn doesn’t seem to be able to handle it. She pulls Kody in for an extremely awkward kiss to get the cameras to stop filming.
While the user writes on Reddit, they bring attention to Robyn Brown needing to be the victim. Additionally, they believe she needs to keep everyone else stirred up and unhappy to maintain that position. Then the commenter says Robyn keeps her family focused on how others leave them out or hurt them. And they also say she needs everyone around her to stay miserable.
But the user then asks, referring to Robyn Brown, “Is emotional munchausen by proxy a thing?? This was the first time I realized she doesn’t want Kody to move on or find peace. She probably fears she’ll lose control over him and he will reconnect with everyone. She’s insufferable!” While Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSP) is a thing, it is now considered a Factitious disorder imposed on another (FDIA). According to Cleveland Clinic, it is a mental illness where a person acts as if an individual they are caring for has a physical or mental illness when the person is not truly sick.
Other Fans Comment On Robyn Brown’s Mental State
In response, many Sister Wives fans comment on Reddit about Robyn Brown’s mental state.
- “I agree we saw a glimmer of the old happy Kody then Robyn’s nasty demeanor was a wet blanket.”
- “Yes! I totally agree with you! Robyns mask fell and it’s become so obvious! She used to hide that goal a lot better but she is in full on desperation to drag anyone she can into the pits of dispair.”
- “Yes! It seems to confirm the suspicion that she’s been complaining about the wives much more often…probably daily since it seems to be her actual personality…to Kody since day one. He’s so dumb. He THOUGHT he had a great family and loved his wives until Robyn showed him the truth with her vast insight and knowledge.”
- And remembering Kody not wanting to make Robyn Brown mad, “Do you remember when he was driving to Meri’s mom’s funeral? He was so nervous he would get covid and Robyn would get mad at him. He said the only way he was ‘allowed’ to go was that he promised he’d only go overnight, stay away from everyone, and wear a mask. To the funeral of his only mother-in-law who actually liked him? The only time he was supporting Robyn’s ‘bestie’ Meri???”
