‘Southern Charm’ Craig Conover’s Relationship Hits Standstill
Southern Charm star Craig Conover’s relationship with Paige DeSorbo has seemingly hit a standstill. The Summer House star is not budging when it comes to making their long-distance romance closer. So, what is Paige doing now that is upsetting Craig? Read on for more details.
Southern Charm Craig Conover’s Relationship Hits Standstill
Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo have been together for over two years now. Still, she resides in New York City and is pretty faithful to her living situation. Meanwhile, Craig has been building his dream home with the hopes that Paige will move in and they can start their life together. Unfortunately, she only comes to visit Charleston and that has become a hindrance. He felt that he could come live with her for a few years but his company, Sewing Down South, is doing immensely well. Therefore, he could not leave his home base and was hopeful she would come to stay with him.
Now, it appears Paige has completely opposite plans that do not include the Southern Charm star. According to Bravo, the press release for the upcoming season of Summer House talks about Paige’s living status. It details how she and Craig are still happily together. However, she is struggling with the idea of moving to Charleston so she has started to look for a new apartment in New York City.
“When she starts looking for a new apartment in New York, Craig questions her choices and she is left wondering if her unwillingness to commit is going to push their relationship over the edge.”
Furthermore, Paige is worried that relocating will “change her identity.” Currently, she lives in a spacious Midtown apartment. Yet, Craig had told co-star Madison LeCroy, while they were on their cast trip, that Paige’s unwillingness to move, could end their relationship. She also said she could never see herself as a Charleston girl until the end of the season. It was still hard for her and fans have been struggling to figure out if she even likes Crag or if she is there for the screen time.
A Crazy Season
Craig Conover has had a crazy season on Southern Charm from the beginning. He tried to help Taylor Ann Green deal with her harsh feelings toward Shep Rose. That was when Taylor became the villain and alleged that Paige had cheated on Craig. This was unfounded but Craig spent the whole season really trying to figure out where he and his girlfriend were going. He did reveal, at BravoCon 2023, that Paige said they should get married. However, he believed it was not the right space so he declined the offer.
