Faith Martin Talks Healing Heart, Friendship With Gerry & Theresa
Faith Martin stopped by to chat with Trista Sutter who was filling in on the Almost Famous podcast. She is opening up about how she’s doing, her healing heart and her friendship with Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist. What did she have to share? Keep reading to find out more.
Faith Martin opens up about her friendship with Gerry and Theresa
Faith Martin was heartbroken when Gerry Turner sent her home following her hometown date. Since then, she has been able to move forward somewhat. She shared her feelings with Trista Sutter on the Almost Famous podcast.
Faith said that while she is excited for Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and his new bride Theresa Nist, she still faces some challenges when it comes to being friends with them. One thing she shared is that they are all very transparent with their feelings about one another.
So, once the world knew Gerry and Theresa were together, Faith said the three of them would talk on the phone. She said, “Theresa would be like, ‘He loves you so much,’ and I’m like, ‘I love him, too, and I love you. And we’re gonna be friends for life, right?’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah,’ so we call and check in with each other all the time.”
Faith says that all of the talks she has had with Gerry and Theresa have helped her heart grow and start to heal.

Sometimes she still cries
Faith Martin shared that while she is excited for Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, she also goes to the bathroom to cry every now and then. She said, “It’s still a little bit hard because I was so in love with him, and I don’t know that I would ever find those qualities in another man. So, I felt the loss, for sure, but I’m super excited for them.”
However, as time goes on, she realizes that perhaps she is ready to get back out there. She said, “It allowed me to feel again and to know that I had a heart that wasn’t dead inside, that I actually could muster up those feelings and have that in my heart, made me think, ‘OK, I am still alive. I just got to look at it differently.’”
Faith hasn’t been out on a date yet but she admits she has flirted pretty heavily with someone and is thinking they should meet up. However, she wouldn’t tell Trista who it was. She admitted it might be someone Bachelor Nation knows.
Faith went to the Golden Wedding to support Gerry and Theresa. She had a great time.
