Brayden Bowers Talks Pulling Off That Incredible Proposal
Bachelor in Paradise alum Brayden Bowers is opening up about pulling off that incredible proposal to Christina Mandrell. He popped the question on live television during the Golden Bachelor Wedding special. Everyone was shocked when he got down on one knee. Brayden Bowers opens up about his surprise proposal to Christina Mandrell
Bachelor Nation was stunned when Brayden Bowers asked Christina Mandrell to marry him. She and him attended the Golden Bachelor Wedding before heading out this weekend on their 29-hour drive to Nashville. Brayden is moving in with Christina and her daughter Blakely.
People shared all about Brayden’s plans to pop the question while at the wedding. He really wasn’t initially planning to propose this soon. He knew it would be sometime later this year and he already had an idea of how he would do it. Brayden planned to put the ring on a pineapple pizza since they talked about one-day eating pineapple pizza in Italy.
However, after speaking with Bachelor producers, together they came up with the plan for him to propose with a Neil Lane ring on the live special.

Brayden has known Christina is the one for him since meeting her. He said, “From the experiences we both had like we both came into this show just wanting love. We both had hard, challenging roads in different ways, and we were both, I feel like, misunderstood. And it’s like two misunderstood people that understand each other.”
He went on to say, “It’s like they say, when you meet someone, you know, you know. And it’s like I’ve never known before. I’ve dated before, but I’ve never known before. And then I meet her, and it’s like there’s no doubt in my mind.”
He loves her daughter too
Brayden Bowers said he would never move in with Christina and Blakely if he wasn’t sure she was the one. He is very careful to take Blakely into consideration. He said, “I figured that we should make this proper and set the example too for Blakely and to show her the kind of love that she deserves as well. And so, it’s the kind of love I want to give to her mom every single day.”
It was pointed out by Jesse Palmer that Brayden called and got Theresa and Gerry’s blessing before proposing.
It was pointed out by Christina’s father that Brayden did ask her dad for permission before proposing as well.
