‘General Hospital’ Star Kelly Monaco Missing: When Is She Back?
Another General Hospital star is missing in action. Where is Kelly Monaco? Currently, Lindsay Hartley is portraying Sam, but for how long? The details include why Kelly is MIA and when she is expected to return to the ABC soap.
In addition, GH fans who watch the prime-time special will get a special treat from the fan-favorite. Here is the latest information.
General Hospital Fans Want To Know Where Sam McCall Is
Has General Hospital recast Kelly Monaco’s role as Sam McCall for Lindsay Hartley? This week, instead of seeing the Dancing With The Stars alum, they saw Hartley back as Sam. Hartley has portrayed Sam McCall two other times, in 2020 and 2022. Is she on the ABC soap permanently?
According to Michael Ausiello at TV Line, this is just temporary. They report that Kelly was “simply under the weather.” Moreover, she only missed one episode.
This is a huge relief to fans of the long-running soap. There have been a lot of substitutions of late. Last week, Kirsten Storms (Maxie) was temporarily recast with Nicole Paggi. Last month, Eden McCoy (Joss), took time off to grieve over the loss of her mother. Coming in for this six-week stint is Courtney Fulk. Therefore, the show has not been very recognizable. There are so many substitutions!
When should soap fans expect to see Kelly return?

While Kelly Monaco is not going to be back as Sam McCall until Friday, GH fans who watch General Hospital: 60 Years Of Stars And Storytelling will see Kelly in a very special performance.
