Christine Brown Takes Fans Inside Her Intimate Wedding To David

While Christine Brown and David Woolley get ready to show the world their intimate wedding, Christine offers details about the behind-the-scenes. In the upcoming Sister Wives Wedding Special, fans get transported to the event that occurred in October. But Christine gave an exclusive interview recently to give fans a glimpse of the reason for the decisions they made for their wedding.

Christine Brown Has Found The One Her Soul Loves

On Valentine’s Day last year, Christine Brown shared a post of her newfound love. At this point she says, “I finally found the love of my life, David. The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took its first breath. He’s wonderful and kind, incredible with my children, and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this. #blessed #soulmate #feelinggood #lovemylife #partner.” And the two seem to be a great fit for one another. For instance, Christine is laughing and smiling more than she has in years. In a recent teaser, Christine and David are shown enjoying each other and being very playful.

Christine Brown Gives Insight On The Wedding

Although David Woolley admits he wanted to go to Vegas, he knows how important Sister Wives fans are to Christine Brown. In like fashion, he was understanding about having a televised wedding. According to In Touch, Christine and David opted not to say vows to each other. She says, “We wanted it small. We wanted it short. We wanted it as intimate as possible.” Then Christine continues, “We just wanted that. So there weren’t any vows or anything like that.” Even so, they wanted their fairytale wedding, but decidedly they kept it: Short. Sweet. Simple.

Christine Brown Vows To Keep It Simple

Additionally, Christine Brown explains why they decided to skip the vows. “It was so funny. We were talking, Corbin is the officiant, and he’s like, ‘Well, do you guys want to have vows, recite vows?’” Then Christine asks, “I’m like, ‘The till death us part and sickness and in health, stuff like that?’” And they tell her, “No, that’s already a given.” With that, Christine replies, “Why would we have to re-say [that]? That doesn’t make any sense to me. So I mean, we’re already completely committed to each other.”

Just The Two Of Them

Although both David and Christine Brown’s daughters offered some help with the wedding planning, most of the decisions were between the bride and groom. Specifically, David picked the venue and Christine was on board. Furthermore, continuing with the “keep it simple” theme, Christine said they didn’t want bridesmaids and groomsmen. She says, “We just wanted all of our grandkids there and our daughters and my son walking me down the aisle.” Further explaining, “We didn’t have anyone up there with us though.”
