‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay Had Problems Prior To Divorce Filing
You could probably color dozens of Bachelorette fans surprised when Bryan Abasolo filed for divorce from Rachel Lindsay, but were problems already evident? It seems in hindsight, that perhaps she hinted at cracks showing weeks before the sudden announcement.
Talking About Children With Bryan Abasolo
Season 13’s Bachelorette star hoped for kids and in August last year, she mentioned children when she talked with Kaitlyn Bristowe. Historically, fans thought that the relationship might not last long enough for children. Once, when her husband commented on her keeping him on his toes, ABC fans took it that she was too controlling.
In November, when she spoke with The Messenger, Rachel Linsday talked about possibly adopting children. It seemed that the former Bachelorette decided to scale back her life as a careerist and focus on raising a family. The couple kept their lives private to a large extent, but she did indicate that Bryan Abasolo was doing well at work. As she experienced fertility issues, she thought that adopting would be an option.

Brian Abasolo And Lindsay’s Divorce Came After Cracks Showed?
It was Page Six that recalled a conversation on The Viall Files podcast on December 21. While The Bachelorette seems shattered, perhaps she already realized something was going wrong between herself and her very private chiropractor husband. In that conversion, the outlet cited the ABC star as saying that she and her husband started almost living separate lives.
Notably, it seems that when Rachel Lindsay scaled back her career, it left her more time for attending events. So she would go out a lot. Shockingly, she admitted:
Bryan is a sole practitioner [and] he leaves the house at 8. He comes home at 9 o’clock, 9:30 [at night] sometimes. It’s just him by himself…Me, especially now that I’m not doing ‘Extra,’ I have a lot more free time… and then I’m back in hustle mode trying to get a second job, so I go to events.
As they seemed to be living “in two totally different places,” it seemed inevitable that one day, the marriage would just run out of steam. Perhaps Rachel should have had a word with Bachelorette Charity Lawson, who makes the time to prioritize Dotun Olubeko no matter how busy she is.
Rachel Lindsay is not a slow-witted woman, so it seems strange that she decided to slow down and focus on family, only to get restless and go out to so many events. Bryan Abasolo has not revealed if that’s what caused him to file for divorce. Instead, he only listed “irreconcilable differences.” Oh, and he wants her to foot the bill for his attorney fees. Fortunately, they have no children, so they only need to worry about splitting assets and who will get custody of their pooch.
What are your thoughts about cracks showing in the marriage of Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo? Hearing about their separate lives does seem to make it less of a surprise that the relationship ended, do you agree?
