During this episode, it seems that the mercurial Torres has found the man who terrorized his family when he was a young boy. This is the man who was a father figure to Nick. But, instead of instilling fatherly advice, he caused pain and torment to his mother and sister.

The season ended with Torres confronting him. But, Nick was not there to talk. He told the older man that he wanted to watch him “die.” Agent Nick Torres sounded lethal and determined.
