Joy-Anna Duggar’s Cooking Almost Burns Face?
Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth seems like an inoffensive person, but TLC fans love to slam her on social media. This time, an attempt to snark about the Counting On alum took a turn and many TLC fans surprised themselves by learning some cooking 101 tips
Counting On Fans Slam Joy-Anna Duggar Often
Mainly TLC fans point fingers at Austin Forsyth’s wife because they think she is a bad parent. Dire predictions suggest that she’s such a bad mom that she might end up regretting her lack of care later. For instance, she tried selling a baby lounger like the one that Gunner outgrew. And, fans claimed that they were dangerous and could even kill a baby.
Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth avoided injuring her children, which is a very good thing. However, her sister Jinger once warned her to be careful in the kitchen. So did Jessa Duggar Seewald. Of course, Jessa often cooked for the Counting On family. But, it was more likely that Joy would be hanging out with the boys in the outdoors.
Counting On Fans Swap Cooking 101 Tips
Taking to Reddit, an OP shared a video of Jinger and Jessa with their sister who was busy cooking potatoes. The mom of Gideon, Evelyn, and Gunner heated water on the stovetop in a big pot, and then tried to toss in the potatoes. Her sisters cautioned that she should “use a spoon,” or she would “burn her face.”
The caption about Joy-Anna Duggar said:
I have no clever caption other than watch dumb *ss Joy almost burn her face off putting potatoes in boiling water.
Next, to the surprise of many TLC fans, the conversation turned into cooking tips.
- As a gentle reminder, veg that grow underground like potatoes can be started in cold water. No burning hands or whatever this nonsense is. Cooking 101 but I guess that’s skipped in the land of tater tots and BBQ tuna…
- Best way to make mash is to steam the potatoes. Works best if you have of those large pasta pot steamer things (also no carrying and dumping boiling water). If you buy ones that are the same size, the potatoes turn out more evenly cooked AND less watery. 10/10.
- And use a ricer. It will improve the texture quite a lot. I come from a country where we eat potatoes as much as the Irish stereotypically do. I ate them enough in my first 17 years that I rarely do now but I have a lot of tater knowledge because of that.
- Come for the snark, stay for the tater cookin’ tips!
- I didn’t know I was going to learn helpful potato tips here today. 😄
