BIP Season 9 Threatens Show’s Success Rate
The speedy process of The Bachelor franchise is very rarely successful. Contestants have just weeks to get the lead to fall in love with them. The intention is an engagement, but many leads choose not to propose and leave as a couple instead.
Neither The Bachelor or The Bachelorette have high rates of lasting relationships. For example, Rachel Lindsay’s four-year marriage to her final rose winner, Bryan Abasolo, is over.
Rejected contestants join Bachelor In Paradise for another chance at love. With less pressure and more one-on-one time, the show has spawned many successful relationships.
Season 9 ended with two engagements and one committed couple. But all three relationships were over within a week of the BIP season finale.
Season 9 contestant Brayden Bowers did find love, but only after leaving the beach single. His former fling, Kat Izzo, had a short-lived engagement to John Henry Spurlock.
Aven Jones and Kylee Russell left the beach together but soon broke up amid cheating allegations.
Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei also broke up shortly after the season finale aired.
But she didn’t waste any time in finding love again.
Eliza Isichei Reveals New Man After Ending Engagement
Eliza took to her Instagram at the start of 2024 to look back on the previous year. She shared a video featuring highlights of 2023 with the caption, “It was a good one.”
The video showed her hanging out with friends, enjoying a basketball game, seeing Drake in concert, and her time on BIP, though it didn’t mention or show her ex.
She used her year-in-review video as an opportunity to sneak in a soft launch of her new man. The footage near the end of the video shows you standing in front of a mirror with an unknown man kissing her on the cheek.

Her BIP co-star Olivia Lewis was one of the first to comment.: She wrote, “The launch I’ve been waiting for everyone to see.”
Meanwhile Bachelor Nation fans are still waiting for Olivia to hard launch her own rumored relationship with someone from the show.
Despite Eliza trying to sneak the new man into the video, her followers mainly only commented on that part of the clip.
