Bryan Abasolo requests spousal support from Rachel Lindsay
Bryan Abasolo met Rachel Lindsay during her time as The Bachelorette. He proposed on the finale and they got married in August 2019. The news of their impending divorce comes as a shock to Bachelor Nation since Rachel has adamantly claimed there are no problems in their marriage. In fact, she talked about starting a family in the past few months.
However, things seemed strange when she noted that they both live completely separate lives. Bryan and Rachel kept their marriage private in hopes of protecting it. Fans rarely saw them post anything about each other on social media.
During a recent interview with Nick Viall, Rachel said, “Bryan is a sole practitioner [and] he leaves the house at 8. He comes home at 9 o’clock, 9:30 [at night] sometimes. It’s just him by himself. Me, especially now that I’m not doing ‘Extra,’ I have a lot more free time … and then I’m back in hustle mode trying to get a second job, so I go to events. So, we’re just in two totally different places.”
The divorce papers filed allege that the two have only been separated since December 31, 2023. According to the papers, Bryan is seeking spousal support from Rachel. He is also saying their home in North Hollywood is a community property. Bryan also wants Rachel to foot the bill for his attorney fees. Of course, the couple has no kids so there will be no battle for child support. It’s unclear who will get custody of their dog.
He listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
Bryan spoke out

In his announcement, Bryan said he wanted everyone to hear the news from him rather than possibly read false information about their split. He said, “Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also a husband, my proudest role so far. After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew.”
Bryan went on to say, “Sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go.”
He asked for privacy as they navigate through their split.
