Sister Wives: Kody Brown Explains Strained Relationship With Meri
Kody previously discussed his relationship with Meri and how it lost its spark. According to the Sister Wives star, he and his ex-wife have a “reasonably amiable” relationship. But he just couldn’t see himself giving the love she was supposed to have. “It’s distant, I don’t see her very often. I don’t know what to do with a marriage that’s supposed to be eternal, but doesn’t have any fire,” he added.
Kody’s statements also received criticism, as he’s the only one who lost love with his former first wife. It’s no secret that Meri has been trying her best to reignite their relationship. But she was often rejected by the patriarch.
Meri Recalls Last Hug From Kody
During the second episode of Sister Wives: Talk Back, Meri and her friend talked about her farewell moment with Kody. “OK, legit. How many people hug at the end of their breakup conversation?” Meri asked. Jenn answered with a joke about how a high-five would’ve been more appropriate and said, “This is probably the most action she’s gotten from him in years.” The two had some great laughs during the episode. Many fans have also noticed that Meri Brown never looked happier during the special episodes, indicating that she’s on the right path to moving on.
Sister Wives: Meri Brown Is Now Fine Living In ‘Limbo’
Meri previously stated in an interview that she doesn’t like living in limbo land. But she felt like she lived there a lot during her time with the Brown family. However, she eventually got used to living in such a condition. “But what I like now is that any limbo land I’m living in is on me, and it’s not based on anybody else,” she added.
Meri Brown also said that she and Kody could’ve had some of their conversations sooner, especially given how she appears to have lived with false hope. Aside from that, the California native has also expressed her motives to let her voice be heard following her property dispute with Kody, creating speculation that she’s planning to write a tell-all book.
