‘Sister Wives’ Robyn Physically Covers Kody’s Rude Mouth
Undeniably, Sister Wives patriarch, Kody Brown, has been struggling for quite some time. While many of the mistakes along the way have been his fault, not all of the blame lies on him. However, in Season 18, he talks about embracing “the devil I think I am now.” And, in many ways, he has manifested a bitter, miserable version of himself in response.
Kody Brown’s Anger Has Been Simmering For A Longtime
As opposed to Sister Wives’ father figure, Kody Brown’s early day portrayal of being the light-hearted, easy-going fixer, he has increasingly developed a new persona littered with bitterness and anger. Notably, in a clip from Season 18, he discusses the anger and says he tried so hard to do the right thing but needs to just become the “devil” he is now. Additionally, his actions have been laced with deep-rooted rage that spills over in every area of his life. Unquestionably, it was a huge factor in the unraveling of the plural family. And now, Kody’s left with one of his four wives after Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown’s decisions to part ways.

Kody Explodes At A Viewers Question On Sister Wives: Talk Back
On the Sister Wives: Talk Back Special, Part 2, Kody and Robyn Brown are reviewing viewer’s questions and responding on camera. During the episode, Kody and his last remaining wife, Robyn, sit and read the questions out loud from a tablet. Kody reads a question from a viewer named Jeff, “I think it’s awesome that you guys found each other and just want to be together. I think you should own it and just say that!” Immediately triggered, Kody escalates and responds furiously, “Well Jeff, I think you’re a victim of 20 hours of our life versus 365 days.” But Robyn disturbed by his flare, turns and grabs his face to cover his mouth midsentence with both of her hands. Then she attempts to defuse the situation, “You stop, he was being nice.”

Sister Wives Star Robyn Brown Tries To Sooth The Situation
Although the Sister Wives star, Robyn, was visibly showing frustration, Kody elaborates to explain, “Listen, we didn’t want our family to break up. Isn’t that obvious?” Admittedly, Robyn concedes and soothingly says, “You’re right, but, he’s not trying to be rude.” And Kody remains stuck on making his point and continues, “Jeff, you’re reading too many tabloids. We didn’t want this breakup, I didn’t want this breakup.” Following there was more back-and-forth discussion, but Robyn seemingly gave up on interceding. Then adamantly, Kody emphasizes, “Listen, I’ve gone through three divorces in three years. I’m not a happy camper. And I’m not nice.”
