Does Kody Brown from Sister Wives still support polygamy even after losing three of his four wives? Only Robyn remains, and even the longevity of that might be questionable. TLC fans saw that some cracks started appearing between Robyn and her husband in the Season 10 Tell-All.

Sister Wives Star Wanted Decriminalization Of Polygamy

In 2017, Sister Wives fans saw that Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn Brown accompanied their husband to Utah to protest the state ruling polygamy as a crime. When the laws were eased in 2020, the family celebrated the joyful news. The year before, in 2019, he made some noises about returning to Utah to run for office.

Three years on, Kody Brown might be grateful that he didn’t rush back to Utah to run for office and advocate for more polygamy freedom. After all, with just one wife remaining, the TLC star might look like a court jester. In an episode of the Tell-All, Janelle claimed her ex talked less about wanting polygamy. She claimed that he’s headed for a monogamous lifestyle, and he seemed to confirm that to Sukanya Krishnan.

Kody Brown Gets Candid About Advocating For Polygamy

Just before Christmas, People Magazine spoke with the TLC star and he seems to have dropped the idea of polygamy for himself. Mostly, he seems to think that plural marriages are doomed, even if people know each other well.

To be fair, if you know people very, very, very well, maybe it’ll work. But there’s those marriages that have people who know each other very, very, very well, and they still don’t work

Additionally, he gave some advice to those who remain interested in the lifestyle:

I don’t advise people marry and go over three wives. I’m not an advocate of plural marriage, but I’ve had my own experience in it and I’ve had my own failures in it. Because of that, I’m like, you got to be really, really wise about who is doing it, how they’re doing it. I don’t have the answers. When I was 25, I had no experience and all the answers. Now I’m 55 and I have all the experience and zero answers.

Kody Brown Failed The Show’s Premise?

Kody Brown just confirmed that the whole premise of the show was based on something he can no longer support. Does that mean the end of the Sister Wives show on TLC?  Well, if you think it is the end, it probably isn’t. There have been signs that filming happened for future episodes of the show. For example, Meri Brown was seen with a mic at Gwen’s wedding. Plus, David Woolley wore one in Christine’s home.

What are your thoughts about Kody Brown no longer feeling able to advocate for polygamy? Do you think that continuing with the TLC show seems a bit pointless? Most people seem done with him and Robyn. Instead, they want more of the other wives as they live their new lives.
