Kody Brown Shares How He’s Deals With ‘Betrayal’ Of Wives
Sister Wives star Kody Brown opens up about his recent frustrations following the departure of his three wives. Christine, Janelle, and Meri’s split with the patriarch was documented in Season 18. The ex-wives believe Kody has been unfair and hasn’t given them the love they deserve for years. But instead of owning up, the 54-year-old pointed fingers and blamed his exes for not being loyal and obedient enough. He even believes that they betrayed him in his latest interview. Keep reading to see what he has to say about his exes.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Says He’s No Longer An Advocate Of Polygamy
During one of his recent interviews, Kody revealed that he’s no longer advocating polygamy following his failed marriages. According to the Sister Wives star, he no longer advises people to marry and go over three wives.
I’m not an advocate of plural marriage, but I’ve had my own experience in it and I’ve had my own failures in it. Because of that, I’m like, you got to be really, really wise about who is doing it, how they’re doing it.
He made it clear that it may still work if the person married the people “very, very, very well.” However, his marriages still end up in disaster despite him knowing the wives. “I don’t have the answers. When I was 25, I had no experience and all the answers. Now I’m 55 and I have all the experience and zero answers,” the father of 18 said.
Kody Shares How He’s Dealing With Betrayal
In the same interview, Kody revealed how he’s been dealing with getting “betrayed” by his ex-wives. According to the Sister Wives star, they’re at different points in accepting and rejecting the downfall of the Brown family. He also added that he had some good and bad days going through his divorce.
It is sad. It is heartbreaking. You’re looking for answers in a state of confusion. Once again, the only answer you can make if you want to have a good relationship is moving forward with a lot of charity.
After that, Kody Brown revealed that charity involves forgiveness despite feeling betrayed. He made it clear that he only looks at the positive. “We might not have been happy together. What the blessing will be is if we’re going to break up, let’s please find happiness after that.’ But that’s a process,” he added. Furthermore, Kody said that he’s hoping for them to build a friendship in the future for the sake of their children.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Admits Kody’s Frustration Affected Their Marriage
Robyn also opened up about how Christine, Meri, and Janelle’s decision to leave affected her marriage to Kody. According to the Sister Wives star, her husband has been dealing with a lot of “frustration and anger and hurt and betrayal.” She revealed dealing with her own emotions as well. “And it’s been hard on our relationship. It’s been really hard on our relationship because I think when you’re going through a divorce, you start questioning yourself,” she added.
Regardless, Robyn Brown has made it clear that she will never leave her husband, despite his habits of sabotaging their marriage. “I think he’s just been in such a dark place,” she claimed.
