‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Reveals Show Almost Went On Early Hiatus
Watch What Happens Live with Kelly and Mark host, Kelly Ripa is friendly with Andy Cohen and she met his son, Ben long ago. This week, she revealed that Andy feels like a son to her, and she blamed him for making her think her hiatus had already begun. In fact, she remembered late that she still had a morning talk show to host before their vacation started.
Live Kelly Ripa Is Tired, Needs Her Winter Hiatus
It’s Christmas time, and that happens to coincide with a hiatus for the morning talk show. Recently, the mom of three complained that she was tired of all the fuss about wrapping gifts during the festive season. Actually, she must have purchased a lot of them, because she wanted a hotel room for space and quiet to get on with the task.
Kelly Ripa has been hosting Live with Kelly shows for a long time now, and she often talks about retirement. In fact, it becomes obvious that the show takes a lot of time and dedication. More often these days, she talks about what her future might look like. As she loves travel, perhaps she will become an agent for the people who want to enjoy a vacation. But right now, she looks forward to her own holiday.
Live With Kelly And Mark: Kelly Almost Missed Work
The Sun reported that during her morning talk show ahead of a hiatus, Mark’s wife chatted about how she nearly thought her vacation had already started. And, she claimed that it was Andy Cohen’s fault. He’d come for dinner along with their kids, and he made her feel like it was a holiday already.
Kelly Ripa spoke about it on the Live with Kelly and Mark show and as usual, she got some giggles from the audience.
Our show is getting ready to go on our winter hiatus…we get a few days off for winter. [Andy Cohen coming for dinner made me feel like we] were on vacation.
It was Mark Consuelos who said that they think of the Watch What Happens Live host as one of their own kids. Mind you, Andy and Kelly are not far apart in age. He must have been very entertaining because she also said that she only realized she had to work in the morning at “around 11:30 at night.” That must have been a let-down, so hopefully she thoroughly enjoys her break from in front of the cameras.
