‘Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Looks Forward To Marriage
While Sister Wives stars, Meri Brown and Kody Brown‘s marriage didn’t pan out, Meri is still interested in love. During the last part of Sister Wives Tell-All Part 4, Meri gives details about what she is looking for in a future relationship.
Kody And Meri Brown’s Marriage
In 1990, the Sister Wives family began, with Meri Brown starting her marriage with Kody as the first wife. Then in 1995, they had their only child together, Leon Brown. In 1993, the couple added a new wife Janelle Brown starting their plural marriage. Then, Christine Brown joined the clan in 1994. Twenty years after Meri and Kody’s marriage began, they brought in wife number four, Robyn Brown, in 2010. Legally, Meri and Kody went through a divorce on paper in 2014 to allow Kody to marry Robyn. Then Kody was able to adopt Robyn’s kids which was the purpose of Meri’s divorce.

Trouble In Paradise
Later, Meri Brown and Kody’s relationship became more turbulent. Undeniably, Meri’s personality is assertive and controlling in some areas. While the two were close in the beginning, there were changes with each additional wife that came into the family. “Anytime that you expand your family, there’s going to be a shift,” Meri confessed. “You’ve got just the logistical things, but then you’ve also got the emotional things.” At times, Meri admitted she struggled with jealousy toward her other sister wives. She says, “I’m human. I’m going to get jealous.” Then, she spoke about Kody’s difficulty knowing what to do with Meri’s emotions, “He’s human. He is going to not know how to deal with a woman’s jealousy.”
Notably, when Meri faced a catfish scandal, the friction became almost unbearable. Unfortunately, Meri was distant with her life transitions when Leon Brown left the home. Sadly, she was deceived by a woman pretending to be a male admirer. With the stress of the incident, Kody and Meri divided even more. Then as the pandemic hit, the entire Brown family encountered new territory they could have never expected. Seemingly, this caused more separation in an already fractured relationship. However, in January, Meri and Kody finally called it quits after a marriage that lasted three decades.

And speaking about whether marriage was a possibility, Meri later said she was hopeful, saying, “Yeah, I do! I hope to.” Additionally, she says, “I hope to find somebody who loves and accepts the person that I am.” Continuing, Meri adds some of the things she needs, “And cherishes me and knows my heart and likes it.” Physically, Meri Brown wants her potential guy to be tall. Then Suki Krishnan wondered if he needed to be 6’1″ and above, but she said she could deal with at least a six-foot-tall man. Additionally, she reveals her celebrity crush is Matthew McConaughey.
