Alyssa Bates Slammed For Putting Kids Lives In Danger
Bringing Up Bates star Alyssa Bates likes to share positive updates about her family. From little to big events, the 29-year-old never forgets to give her fans news about what she’s been up to. However, some are scratching their heads over her recent vlog. Some Redditors even accused her of putting her kids’ lives in danger. Keep reading to see why many are upset.
Bringing Up Bates: Alyssa Bates’ Birthday Vlog
Alyssa recently took to YouTube to share a 14-minute vlog about her husband’s birthday. The Bringing Up Bates star and her kids devised a plan to surprise John. The kids baked a cake for him and decorated the house while he was at work. They also prepared a cardboard gift for him filled with their drawings. Later in the video, John finally arrived and was surprised by what he saw. He immediately hugs his family and celebrates his special day with them. Many also commended Alyssa for coming up with a sweet plan.
- “Happy birthday to John and Aylessa. You have such great ideas Loved the pics with streamers. You’re so creative and adorable,” one fan said.
- “Happy Birthday John. Alyssa you make thing look so easy,” another commenter said.
Fans Call Out Alyssa For Poor Parenting
Later in Alyssa Bates’s birthday vlog, she gave her viewers a quick tour around the house to their visitors. However, some Redditors became furious due to her enclosed pool with sliding doors. According to some, the kids were running and playing around the pool without their supervision.
The sliding doors, I would guess, are about 15 feet from the pool’s edge. Is John such a cheapskate that he won’t put a fence or a pool cover to safeguard his kids against drowning? It’s unreal.
Others agreed and said that it’s odd for a pool to have such a feature. Some were even terrified by the idea, as they may end up not noticing anyone growing at the pool at all.
Bringing Up Bates: Fans Discuss Alyssa Bates & John Webster’s Fenced Pool
Some Redditors also discussed Alyssa and John’s pool. According to some, a simple pool cover would’ve solved their problems, while others think a fence for the kids is much safer than a sliding door.
- “This infuriates me. She needs to follow Nicole Hughes or Morgan Beck (miller ) on instagram. Both lost children to drowning during non swimming times. Children can and do slip away,” one person said.
- “They used to have a (half-used) screen between the sitting area and the pool. I haven’t seen it in a while. And yes, this makes me so nervous for those kids,” another commenter added.
Alyssa Bates has yet to share her comments about the criticisms she received. But it’s clear that she has no intention of putting her kids’ lives in danger.
