John Henry, Kat Izzo’s Shocking Breakup Story
Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise ended with two engagements and one couple who left together in love but not engaged. As of now, all three of those relationships have ended. John Henry Spurlock and Kat Izzo are one of the engaged couples who decided to call it quits. Now, more of their story is coming out. Why did they choose to go their separate ways? Why did John Henry and Kat Izzo break up?
On Wednesday, Reality Steve shared more details about why this couple decided to end their engagement. On his podcast, Steve talked about John Henry and Kat Izzo’s broken engagement after John Henry slammed haters for being mean to Kat. According to Steve, their breakup is very recent. He said they literally called it off just within the past two weeks.
As it turns out the reason for their split was not because of something awful like fighting or cheating. Their relationship ended due to long distance they would be facing.
Both were planning to move to San Diego together and begin their new chapter together. However, deep into the planning of their big move, John Henry decided he wanted to work more overseas.
Steve revealed that he got his information from sources from both sides.
He also shared that Kat was caught off guard by the sudden change in plans. It was John Henry who ended it.
Steve said these two had a legitimate relationship and were really into each other. Their career paths were just not aligning. Kat is still planning to move to San Diego to be a Nurse Practitioner.
What did John Henry share on Tuesday?
John Henry wanted to make it clear that he did not end things with Kat Izzo because she was a bad person. He came to her defense and noted how amazing she is. He also brought up the editing on Bachelor in Paradise.
John Henry said,
And for those who have nothing nice to say based on what was shown on an edited reality dating show, just know I dont feel that I made a mistake choosing her. I never watched this back and second guessed things, I fell for the real Kat Izzo. The Kat who always put my feelings first and did everything she could to make this work. The Kat that alot of people truly know. But unfortunately, the Kat that bachelor nation doesn’t know. Although we decided to go different paths, you are an amazing woman and someone will be very lucky to have you. Keep being you, keep accomplishing all your goals, and enjoy this next chapter in your life in San Diego, working as a nurse practitioner.
Many were rooting for these two and it’s disappointing they decided to go separate ways.
