Tom Sandoval Did All He Could For Rachel Romance
Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval is alleging he did all that he could for his romance with Rachel/Raquel Leviss. The two started an affair during Season 10 of the Emmy-nominated Bravo reality series. It ended up blowing up in their faces, making them both villains. Now, Sandoval is speaking out about how hard he fought to keep her in his life. Read on for more details.
Tom Sandoval Did All He Could For Rachel Romance
For nine years, Tom Sandoval claimed he was in love with his co-star, Ariana Madix. Then, at 40, he had a midlife crisis, and their co-star and good friend, Rachel/Raquel Leviss was there to pick up the pieces. She brought him back to life but rather than end his romance with Madix, he had a months-long affair. The two started being intimate in August 2022 and Madix discovered the truth on March 1st, 2023. She had a gut instinct, his phone had fallen, she opened it, and there was the proof.
Just a handful of episodes of Season 10 had aired but ‘Scandoval’ was born. Ariana came out as the queen whereas Raquel, soon rebranded Rachel, and Sandoval, were the villains. Rachel headed to a mental health facility after the filming of the reunion and Sandoval went out on tour. He claimed that he had quit drinking and was starting a new life. Apparently, this was all for Rachel, according to Page Six. He opened up about what he did to try and salvage the tainted romance on the Two Ts In A Pod podcast.
Joined by his best friend, Tom Schwartz, the two sat down with hosts Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge. Here’s what Tom Sandoval shared.
“I fought so hard for Rachel. I stopped drinking. I stopped smoking cigarettes because she went away to a facility. I’m like, ‘She can’t drink, she can’t smoke. I’m gonna quit.’ I was there in any way that she needed. We were best friends. It’s heartbreaking to go through. I was fully in love with her. She’s not just some hot girl. I was a model for 15 years, it’s deeper than that.”
Tom Sandoval does have hope that she loved him despite what she has said since her treatment.
Letting Go?
Rachel Leviss has proudly blocked Tom Sandoval from her life and sold remnants of their romance. So, does that mean that he is finally ready to let go of her? It is hard to understand why she just dismissed him but he noted he was not “in her head.” Furthermore, Sandoval did explain that he wanted to get the same treatment as she did but it just was not feasible at the time. He had to make money to keep things going, alleging Ariana, who he owns a home with, was not paying her bills.
