Ariana Madix Credits Boyfriend For ‘DWTS’ Success
Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is crediting her boyfriend, Daniel Wai for her DWTS success. The author came in third in the reality dancing competition. Yet, she took the time to ensure Wai knew how much he meant to her on the journey. Read on for more details.
Ariana Madix Credits Boyfriend For DWTS Success
When Ariana Madix joined Season 32 of DWTS, she was coming off of immense public humiliation. Her boyfriend of nearly a decade had been having an affair with their co-star and close friend. It ended up playing out on Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules but the cast and fans seemed to rally around Madix. She came onto the show with a fire in her belly and it was clear she was ready to win. Additionally, she had found a new love in New York-based fitness trainer, Daniel Wai. He would travel to California almost weekly to be in the audience to support Ariana.
Now that the season is over, Ariana is headed to even bigger and more exciting ventures. She is living her lifelong dream of performing on Broadway. Her stint as Roxie Hart in Chicago will begin on January 29th and run for eight weeks through March 2024. However, Ariana took the time to acknowledge how Daniel helped to get her where she is today. It began as an Instagram appreciation post for Ariana from Daniel. He noted that she was his champ and the champion of the people. Wai also shouted out Madix’s partner, Pasha Pashkov for “guiding her through.”

Of course, the moment Ariana Madix saw this, she turned it all on him and gave him immense credit for all that he had done during her time on the show.

Prior to this, Ariana noted that Daniel had been a saint, ensuring she was taking care of herself at all times. He also ensured she never had to worry when she got back home as Wai set her up for her week.
A Keeper
Since they started seeing each other in April 2023, the romance between Daniel Wai and Ariana Madix has been long-distance. However, with her moving to New York for Chicago, it seems this could catapult it all to the next level. Plus, there is a chance fans may get a glimpse of him on Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules so he seems to be exactly what she needed at the perfect time.
