My 600-lb Life alum June McCamey had a successful story in Season 4. She lost an incredible amount of weight despite all the obstacles in her life, especially when it came to her health. The Texas native sought Dr. Now’s help at 590 lbs. She was struggling with doing any basic tasks and was almost immobile. But she worked hard to turn her life around and inspired many with her transformation. However, it seems that June still has traces of her past, as she still suffers from a health condition. My 600-lb Life: June McCamey’s Weight Loss Journey
June was determined to change her life when she appeared on the show. She quickly followed Dr. Now’s weight loss regimes and lost enough weight to qualify for bariatric surgery. The My 600-lb Life alum was able to repair her addiction to food, which was caused by childhood trauma. After her operation, she worked even harder and dropped over 221 pounds. She was only 10 pounds away from achieving her weight loss goal. Nevertheless, she made one of the most impressive transformations in the program. Her last reported weight was over 240 lbs.
June Still Has Gigantic Mass
June has kept in touch with the fans regarding her weight loss journey. Many of her photos today show that she was able to maintain a healthy lifestyle seven years after her episode. However, the former My 600-lb Life star is still suffering from a huge mass in her legs. Recently, she went live on Facebook where viewers got a glimpse of her full body. But what’s noticeable is the mass on her legs. June McCamey has yet to share her plans for the mass on her legs. But it’s known that some of Dr. Now’s patients who suffered from lymphedema decided to have it removed. Though her case may not be as bad as that of the other patients.
My 600-lb Life: June McCamey Celebrates Her Birthday
June also took to social media recently to share how she celebrated her birthday. According to the My 600-lb Life star, she had a pedicure for her special day. She also shared a close-up photo of her legs, which look swollen. Regardless, she can now walk much easier compared to her condition when she first met Dr. Now.
June McCamey has yet to share her current weight. But it’s clear from her latest photos that she dropped much more weight after the show. She also got married in 2019 and is currently running an accessory business.
