‘Sister Wives’ Proof Meri Brown Suffered Kody Abuse For Years?
Spoilers for the Sister Wives Tell-All on Sunday, December 3 emerged, and now, critics of Kody Brown are utterly shocked. Incensed, they are busy slamming him for allegedly being abusive with Meri, his first wife. Of course, it’s not the first time. However, now that some truths are coming out, it’s way worse than people suspected. The latest outrage came when Christine Brown confessed something to Sukanya Krishnan.
Sister Wives Christine Brown Spilled Tea On Kody Brown
Season 18 has been a real eye-opener with all three wives. Christine Brown seems to no longer care what she says. After all, she is no longer under the authority of her former spiritual husband. Married to David Woolley, she found new self-confidence. Meanwhile, Janelle also picked up enough confidence to tell her ex that she wished to remain separated from him.
Kody Brown said a lot of things in the current season of Sister Wives that conflicted with what he said before. So, some fans think that they might be hearing the truth for the first time. Mind you, not when it comes to Robyn who they still mistrust. She maintains that everything that went wrong was the fault of the other wives. In the Tell-All Part 2, fans will see Christine spill some tea about Kody and Meri Brown.

Sister Wives Fans Discuss Alleged Abuse By Kody Brown
The preview for Sunday’s episode revealed that Christine Brown spilled the tea to Sukanya which was not her story. Perhaps she shouldn’t have done it, because it is about Meri. Remember when Meri spotted Kody with his new ring? She questioned it, and he shrugged it off as “a cool ring.” Well, Christine revealed that Kody melted down Meri’s rings but kept the gold and the diamonds.
Christine Brown claimed that when Meri Brown asked about her ring, he coldly told her that he had it “melted down.” He did that because he didn’t want her to have “control and power” over him anymore. Shocked Sister Wives fans soon discussed the story on Reddit. US Weekly shared the link to their article about how Meri Brown felt angry with Christine for leaking her story. In the comments section, many people felt shattered and angry with the TLC patriarch.
- Damn. Between this early story and the other one of her not receiving any presents on Christmas, I am so…disgusted with him. He’s been abusive for a long time, especially with Meri. I think it’s because she had no issue being confrontational with him and he punished her.
- I’m now 100% convinced the legal divorce wasn’t Meri’s idea. He demanded it behind the scenes and she had to go along to save face.
- … I don’t think this tea makes Meri look bad at all it just shows what an abusive piece of sh-t Kooty was and I want all 3 of them to shout that to the world.
Why Did Meri Stay?
For years, TLC fans begged Kody Brown’s first wife to leave him. Another commenter noted something worth considering:
People who say she’s an idiot for staying, likely have no idea how hard it is to get the courage to leave an abusive relationship. Let’s not forget she tried before and failed (catfish), so that will also have affected her self esteem and confidence. I’m glad she has finally had the courage to leave and wish her nothing but happiness.
Are you shocked at the lengths Kody Brown went to to demolish Meri Brown’s self-confidence? Do you agree that he seems to be vile and abusive? Are you blown away at the contempt and hatred that he seems to harbor towards his first wife? Do you think Christine was wrong to leak the story about the ring?
