Ariana Madix Has Limits With ‘Scandoval’ & ‘DWTS’
Though the ‘Scandoval’ drama may have helped Ariana Madix land her DWTS gig, she has limits when it comes to scandal. It shook her life and rocked the entire Vanderpump Rules world as fans know it. So, how does she feel about crossing it over to her new show? Read on for more details.
Ariana Madix Has Limits With ‘Scandoval’ & DWTS
Shortly after news broke that Ariana Madix’s longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval had cheated on her, everything changed. Vanderpump Rules fans and co-stars immediately became #TeamAriana, leaving Sandoval in the dust. A lot had to do with the fact that he was having an affair with their castmate and good friend, Rachel Leviss. Therefore, it was the ultimate betrayal. ‘Scandoval’ shook the Bravoverse but it gave Ariana this newfound platform with endorsement deals and movie parts. This also included speculation that she would be joining Season 32 of DWTS due to her popularity.
She was soon announced as the first celebrity on the show and has since excelled. Though Madix has addressed how tough this year has been, she does have limits when it comes to ‘Scandoval.’ According to Us Weekly, the cocktail book author admits she had to draw the line somewhere. She was responding to fans on Instagram when one asked why she did not dance to a particular Taylor Swift song. That was when Ariana explained her boundaries.
“Aside from Week 1 and [Most Memorable Year Night] I had a big music rule for myself which was NO songs on that subject matter. Even my MMY was supposed to be about losses in 2022 and an amazing support system.”
Though the fan wanted Ariana Madix to dance to “Vigilante S–t,” it was a very simple decision for the sandwich shop owner. Her favorite Taylor song is “Cruel Summer” and it was needed in the show. Luckily, it got to be Ariana’s shining moment. Fortunately, she has been having an amazing time despite the countless hours she has put into rehearsing. Even Tom Sandoval said Ariana wanted this for years.
A New Season
This season of DWTS will conclude on December 5th then the following month, Vanderpump Rules will return. In the preview, Ariana Madix is still living with Tom Sandoval. However, she is livid and tells him he will be hearing from her lawyer. More so, she accuses him of killing her dog. They still share a home but she let fans at BravoCon know that she is working on changing that. Currently, she is in a long-distance romance with Daniel Wai who resides in New York City. Fortunately, he is in town as much as possible to watch Madix dance and cheer her on.
