My 600-lb Life alum Chris Parsons had an impressive journey in Season 11. The Oklahoma native appeared on the show at 620 pounds and was struggling with his daily life. He was on the verge of losing his mobility due to his weight. Fortunately, he found the determination to seek Dr. Now’s help.

My 600-lb Life: Chris Parsons’ Weight Loss Journey
Chris showed great progress in his weight loss program. The My 600-lb Life alum was able to drop 256 pounds in his 12-month journey. He also qualified for bariatric surgery. But many were surprised when he declined the operation. According to him, he wanted to work on his health on his own and in a natural way.
He has a similar mindset to another patient from the same season named Mark Rutland, who’s been doing well on his weight today. Chris got his weight down to 364 lbs by the end of his episode. But he made sure that he’d continue to pursue shedding more weight behind cameras.
Chris Continues To Shed More Weight
Chris has also kept in touch with the fans on social media. He often shares updates about his weight loss goals. Recently, the former My 600-lb Life star shared a stunning before-and-after photo of himself. “Looks like someone is letting the air out of my head. Oo. BIG BALOON,” he captioned.
He has maintained his beard for years, but it’s noticeable that his face has gotten slimmer. Chris Parsons revealed he had lost 282 lbs in June. But it seems he had lost much more based on his latest pictures. Dr. Now’s former patient also announced that he and his family moved to Ohio.
My 600-lb Life: Chris Parsons Continues To Thrive In Life
Chris had an interview in March where he revealed that his new lifestyle made him and his daughter’s relationship much stronger. According to the My 600-lb Life alum, they’ve been able to do more activities that they couldn’t perform before. He’s also planning to use trampolines at their local park soon, once he reaches a certain weight.
Christ Parsons also made it clear that bariatric surgery is not a bad thing. However, he wanted to prove that people can shed weight in a natural way, and he believes it’s the healthiest option possible. It seems he has proven that to be true.
