Many members of her inner circle used to make regular appearances on My Big Fat Fabulous Life, but that no longer seems to be the case. As time goes on, they seem to make fewer appearances on MBFFL. And after the way Whitney has behaved in recent episodes, several viewers can’t help but wonder if she is to blame.

MBFFL fans noticed many of Whitney’s friends don’t come around often
So what exactly is going on between Whitney Way Thore and her friends? That’s a question that My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans recently debated online this week. The show used to feature a wide range of cast members, featuring Whitney’s closest friends. But lately, it seems like very few of them appear on the show these days.

“What’s the feud that [happened] between Whitney and her friends? Why don’t we see them anymore?” a Redditor asked online. “I’m curious to know what happened to her friends we used to see often on the show. Is it because they got tired of just being filmed and went on with their own lives…. or each by each is it because something personal happened with them and Whitney??”
The Redditor went on to ask about specific friends of Whitney’s, such as Heather, Buddy, Todd, and Ashley. The OP noted that it seemed like no one in Whitney’s circle of friends made appearances on the show any longer.
While Whitney Way Thore may be known for her wild antics, she may not actually have much to do with her friends appearing on the show less and less frequently. Actually, there may be a very simple explanation for this.
Whitney’s friends have lives of their own
Whitney Way Thore has butted heads with friends in the past, but she probably isn’t the reason for their exit from the show.
“Being in a reality show when you’re not the ‘star’ can get really tiresome. It requires a lot of you, including a loss of privacy and strangers talking about you on social media, and just isn’t worth the time and aggravation when it’s not your primary source of income,” another Redditor replied.
“I imagine it was also hard to be defined in the eyes of the public as ‘one of Whitney’s friends,'” they continued. “They want to be known for who and what they are outside of reality world. I live just outside Greensboro and see and hear about them from time to time. They’re just living normal life and seem to dislike being recognized.”
By all accounts, it seems like Whitney’s circle of friends is doing just fine. As this Redditor pointed out, many would prefer to keep a lower profile. If there is any drama going on with the MBFFL star and her friends, it appears they want to keep it out of the spotlight.
