‘MBFFL’ Fans SLAM Whitney Way Thore After Last Episode

My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewers have absolutely had enough of the way Whitney Way Thore speaks to her father.

Since the season began, Whitney and her brother Hunter have done everything in their power to support Glenn after Babs died. While fans appreciate the fact that the Thore siblings want to help their dad, most agree that the situation is getting out of hand. Onscreen, MBFFL viewers watch Whitney speak disrespectfully to her father, and they’ve had enough.

MBFFL fans think Whitney Way Thore behaved like a child onscreen

If you didn’t appreciate Whitney Way Thore’s behavior in the most recent MBFFL episode, you weren’t alone. Many other viewers felt totally disgusted by the situation at hand. Redditors had no problem sharing their feelings about the argument between Whitney and her father.

“Last episode,” the original Redditor titled their post. “I usually can let Whitney slide on her behavior, but this last episode she was AWFUL. As someone who has lost both parents, I understand how sometimes things that aren’t so great about you can become worse from grief and stress… but come on. The way she speaks to Glenn is rude, obnoxious and controlling. He is not inept, invalid, etc. He is an older man who has taken care of himself for how long?! My God.”

It was definitely an ugly situation, to say the least. Many Redditors shared that they would be uncomfortable with a small child talking to their parents that way, let alone a grown woman.

Redditors sound off about the TLC star’s bad behavior

Several My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewers chimed in and echoed similar feelings to the OP.

“I think she needs LOTS of therapy on her own & then some family therapy with the 3 of them,” another Redditor agreed. “Then again poor Glenn just wants some peace from it all it seems like. I can’t imagine going through all that with cameras in your face! Losing a wife then getting berated by your daughter on camera for the world to see? I can’t imagine the levels of mental damage that does to a person.”

“She needs Glen way more than Glen needs her. Glen should save himself and move out of her house and stop giving her so much access to the intricacies of his life,” someone else added. “She is desperate to become the glue that holds the family together so they will be dependent on her and unable to leave her. She’s terrified of being alone and it shows. After Glenn is gone, Hunter will be free and she won’t be able to control him. She’ll be alone.”

No familial dynamic is perfect, but MBFFL fans seem to agree that the Thores need serious help.
