After less than two months of episodes, The Golden Bachelor is already prepped for its season finale. The first season of the new spinoff comes to a dramatic conclusion on Thursday, November 30.
Bachelor Nation fans are eager to find out if Gerry Turner winds up engaged and to whom. His final two are Theresa Nist and Leslie Fhima.
During the overnight dates, viewers and Turner learned that Nist is a girl boss who beat out dozens of college graduates for her job at a financial services company.
She told Gerry Turner that she’s a self-taught day trader with a highly successful career. The 72-year-old retired restaurateur was thoroughly impressed, as were viewers.
It turns out that Leslie Fhima is also a girl boss.

Golden Bachelor Finalist Leslie Fhima’s Secret Venture Exposed
An old interview with Leslie Fhima has been unearthed, and it reveals some pretty interesting facts about the Golden Bachelor frontrunner. She was almost on another ABC show but got cut at the last minute. The show? Shark Tank, where aspiring entrepreneurs hope to find funding for their ventures.
In a 2015 feature in the publication TC Jew Folk, Leslie Fhima discussed the idea that almost got her on Shark Tank. The Minnesota native shared that as a personal trainer, she was always on the go, and so was her dog, Sadie.
While eating a protein bar, Fhima realized that she’d forgotten to bring her dog’s food. She realized that if there were a protein bar for dogs, it wouldn’t be a problem. Fhima came up with the name PowerBark and trademarked it.
She teamed up with a friend she used to ice skate with during her time on with the Ice Follies. The dog protein bar did make it to over 20 stores nationwide but was rejected by Shark Tank.
“They cut us a week before we were supposed to leave… And then our competitor got on. That was a tough one,” she told the outlet in 2015.
Golden Bachelor fans took to Facebook to share the new information about Leslie Fhima.
The reaction to the news that Fhima was almost on another reality show was mixed. Some people praised her as a “smart lady” for her dog protein bar idea.
However, others took aim at Fhima’s alleged quest for fame. One person went so far as to call the Golden Bachelor finalist an “attention hog.”
Another noted that many of the contestants seem to have connections in show biz.
She Was Also An ’80s Video Vixen
Leslie Fhima was a professional ice skater, dated Prince, and had a short-lived business. What other surprises are there about Fhima? She was something of a video vixen in the 1980s.
As a fitness instructor, Leslie Fhima starred in several aerobics tapes distributed on VHS. One eagle-eyed Golden Bachelor fan posted on TikTok about an old video she found. Leslie Fhima then shared it on her Instagram, reflecting on the time she owned her own fitness studio.
