There have been a few variations of how and why Kody and Christine Brown fell in love. He has maintained all along that he was not really initially attracted to her. They stopped to eat nachos early in their romance and that completely repulsed him. Yet, Christine shared that she just knew he was the one for her, it was a spiritual connection she could not deny. Years later, Kody did claim that Christine was church royalty so that was a reason he wanted to marry her. Now, something has resurfaced from an early season where Kody is talking about what made him fall for her.
It popped up in a Reddit thread and he is sharing about seeing and meeting Christine. In a series of screenshots, Kody shares that when he met his now ex-wife, she was interested in someone else. He adds that he had this “eternal spark” and a click. Therefore, one narrative he portrays is feeling something really special for her. Then, it turns on her as if she was something so awful. He had given her initial credit for bringing the light into the plural family when there was friction between Meri and Janelle.

In 2010, Robyn Brown joined the family and Kody feels she picked up where Christine slacked. Ultimately, Christine has said she never regretted her time with Kody but she knew when it was time to leave. Now, she has someone who adores her and Kody has Robyn.
