‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Blasts Crew Member Rude Action To Audience Member
In the Monday Live With Kelly And Mark, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos discuss the New York Marathon that occurred over the weekend. While talking about the event, Kelly calls out a crew member on-air for odd behavior.
Being Live With Kelly And Mark Can Be Odd At Times
Undeniably, lots of strange things happen on the Live With Kelly And Mark show. Specifically, since it is a live show and there are many unpredictable factors that the hosts, producer, and crew need to run with as they arise. But on Monday’s show, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos opened by talking about the New York City Marathon that happened on Sunday. Notably, several audience members and even a crew member had participated in the weekend event.
Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Recognize Hard Work
Since running a marathon is undeniably a huge accomplishment, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos took time during the Live show to recognize the participants. Among the crew, they spoke with Aiden from the Live crew. Excitedly, Kelly says, “Aiden, you ran the marathon?!” After congratulating him, Kelly announces, “I’m just going to say one thing. I’m pretty sure Aiden is also in the CIA.” He responds, “I smile.” They discussed his fast completion of the race, snacking habits, and lack of chaffing with Vaseline. Mark agreed he also has Vaseline everywhere.

Involving The Audience
Unquestionably, Kelly Ripa easily identified the members of the crowd who participated in the marathon by the medals around their necks. Furthermore, the Live hosts took a moment to engage with someone in the audience. Seeing that they had run in the marathon, Kelly asked what their time was. After the response, Kelly acknowledged it was an incredible display. Meanwhile, Kelly notices a strange behavior in the audience happening off camera.
Kelly Ripa Blasts Crew Member For His Actions
When Mark is about to say something else, Kelly Ripa addresses what she witnessed in the crowd, “You can give it to her- give it to her.” Sadly, with Mark and Kelly’s timing, the crew member didn’t know whether to give the woman in the audience the microphone or not. Admittedly, Kelly says, “Let her have it. I’ve never seen anything like that.” Afterward, she mimics the awkward interaction of the crew handing the audience member the microphone and then immediately taking it back. With Kelly’s reenactment, the audience laughed and she returned to the questions she was asking the runners. Once the audience member got the microphone, she discussed her and her friend’s accomplishments in the race.
