The Bates have been friends with the Duggars for years. Fans have speculated about potential courtships in the past, but none of the Bates kids have gone on to marry a Duggar.
Now, many of the Bates girls are married and have started their own families. However, there are a few young ladies who are unmarried, and that’s who Jason happened to be pictured with.
Counting On Star Jason Duggar Poses With Bringing Up Bates Stars
Most of the Bates family lives in Tennessee while most of the Duggars live in Arkansas. Despite the distance, the friends sometimes make trips to see each other. When they do, they share pictures, which fans enjoy seeing.
Most recently, Jason Duggar traveled to Tennessee to hang out with the Bates family. He posed for a photo with Zach Bates and his children, as well as Addee and Ellie Bates. Below, you can see the photo. Jason is standing in the back row and wearing a baseball cap. Close to him are Addee and Ellie.
Fans Speculate Possible Romance
On Reddit, fans are talking about the former Counting On star possibly courting a former Bringing Up Bates star. They don’t know why else he would have attended this soccer game with the Bates family. Of course, it’s possible he’s close with Zach and just wanted to catch up.
Of course, some Counting On and Bringing Up Bates fans are speculating about a courtship. Jason is 23, and as far as fans know, he’s single. Addee Bates is 17 years old and Ellie is 16. So, they’re quite a bit younger than Jason. Many fans have decided that Jason seems to be too old for the Bates girls. One thinks there could be a different Bates-Duggar courtship in the future. They wrote, “I think Hannie with Isaiah or Warden and/or Jackson with Addie or Ellie is more likely.”
Only time will tell whether Jason is dating Addee or Ellie Bates. Though there is an age gap, it’s not impossible. Someone commented, “Unfortunately … 17 and 22 sounds pretty fair game for a courtship in fundie land 😬”
Some think that a courtship could be announced once Addee turns 18 early next year. For now, it’s all speculation.
