‘DWTS’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy Shares Exciting Future Baby News
Former DWTS (Dancing With the Stars) pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy is opening up to the public about his exciting future baby news! He and his wife Peta Murgatroyd are enjoying their life with their two kiddos. But he’s already discussing what the future holds for his family. So, what did Maks share about his future children? After two decades on the dance competition show, Maks said his goodbyes. This was a sad moment, especially for the fans who have fallen in love with him. Fortunately, his supporters are still able to keep up with him on social media.
Thanks to social media, fans have had the opportunity to watch Maksim and Peta’s family grow. They have a six-year-old son Shai. He arrived in 2017, which is also when Maks and Peta got married. Then, this summer, the DWTS pros welcomed another little boy into their family and named him Rio.

Former DWTS Pro Maks Chmerkovskiy’s Future Baby Plans
In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Maks opened up about his future as a father. It sounds like he and Peta aren’t done after welcoming two kiddos to their family. He said that he and Peta are “looking to expand the fam” in the future.
He added, “We’re definitely not saying we’re done.”

Because Rio is only four months old, it might be a little while before Peta and Maks are ready to add a new little one to their crew. But it certainly sounds like they have plans to do so.
Also in the interview, Maks talked about how he and his brother Val are enjoying being dads together. Because there is a six-year age gap between Shai and Rio, Maks is appreciative of Val’s advice. Val and his wife Jenna Johnson have a son Rome, who arrived in January.
Maksim discussed his sons’ age gap and the adjustment period he’s gone through. He said, “I had to clean up some baby formula from my shoulder. I forgot what that was like for a little bit. But, you know, we’re back at it.” It sounds like he’s loving this part of his life and can’t wait to have more babies in the future.
