My 600-lb Life: Ashley Bernard’s Weight Loss Story
Ashley did an impressive job early in her journey. She became a regular at the gym and often did treadmill sessions. After a couple of months, the My 600-lb Life alum dropped enough weight to qualify for bariatric surgery. Dr. Now was even impressed by how quick her progress was. Ashley Continues To Face Health Problems
Ashley is currently a single mother to four kids, and she’s eager to lose even more weight to take care of them. But the former My 600-lb Life star took to Facebook in August to share her recent struggles with walking. She sought help from her FB friends in the hopes of finding an organization or people who could provide “lumber or building a handicap ramp.” According to Ashley Bernard, she can no longer go up and down the stairs. She also added that her last two c-sections made her body even more prone to injuries.

Despite the struggles in life, Ashley continues to stay positive. Many of her posts are motivational messages about personal growth and overcoming challenges. She has also been spending a lot of time with her family and trying out different outdoor activities. It’s unclear if she has any jobs today. However, she launched a fundraiser to help pay her family’s medical bills after all of them suffered difficulties breathing due to carbon monoxide. The donation has reached $1,476 with a goal of $2,000. It’s been a year since she sought financial assistance.
