Gerry Turner talks about difficult choices
The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Gerry Turner for his pickleball group date. It’s been known that Gerry loves pickleball and plays often. So, it’s no surprise that there was a pickleball group date so the ladies could show off what they knew about the sport.
The Bachelor Joey Graziadei and The Bachelorette Trista Sutter were both on hand to help out with the date.
After the ladies played, Gerry said, “I’m not going to lie — my excitement was as high as theirs. But I think the most impressive part was how hard they were trying. They really wanted to learn the game.”
Three of the women went home on Thursday night leaving only six remaining. Gerry said the first two rose ceremonies were really hard. He didn’t know enough about each of the women to feel like he was making an informed decision.
Gerry said, “The first two rose ceremonies were extremely difficult, and it was because I didn’t know everyone very well at all. So I was sort of making uninformed decisions and their life-changing decisions. As I’ve gotten a little bit further into the journey [with] the more recent rose ceremony, I was a lot more comfortable because I knew the women quite a bit better, so I felt like I was making an informed decision.”
The three women who went home on Thursday night were April Kirkwood, Kathy Swarts and Nancy Hulkower.
Hometowns are almost here
Gerry Turner also talked about hometowns. He noted that he has been surprised at how quickly time passes by while filming. He also shared that every morning he gets up and starts thinking about hometown dates. Gerry journals and takes notes so he can go back and see what his thoughts have been about each of the women.
He knows hometowns are a big decision and he wants to make sure he is making the right choices.
