‘DWTS’ Mauricio Umansky & Emma Slater Caught On Date Kissing?
Is there a new Dancing With The Stars couple in the ballroom? Emma Slater and Mauricio Umansky have been consistently improving week after week. But now, many fans think their relationship is quickly escalating. In fact, several think the pair are romantically involved.
Celebrity DWTS contestants and their pro partners often hang out outside the rehearsal room. But Mauricio and Emma’s most recent outing led many to believe there is a romantic element here.
What exactly happened between the two?

Mauricio Umansky is currently married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. However, they did separate earlier in the year. But even so, Kyle was reportedly supportive of Mauricio’s decision to join Dancing With The Stars. Fans even spotted her in the audience at least once.
However, the couple seems to be very estranged these days. Many RHOBH fans think Kyle Richards is secretly dating singer Morgan Wade. If that’s the case, Mauricio may be free to see whoever he chooses as well.
Emma Slater is single now too. She was married to her Dancing With The Stars costar Sasha Farber, but they split up in 2022. Emma recently shared that they couldn’t come to an agreement about the possibility of children. However, they still reportedly remain on good terms.
Dancing With The Stars dancers often form strong bonds with their partners. Last year, many viewers thought Emma might be dating her partner, Trevor Donovan. But what exactly is going on with Mauricio and Emma?
Paparazzi caught the two holding hands
According to TMZ, Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater had dinner together this week and left the restaurant holding hands. It’s entirely possible the two are simply close friends, but many viewers are still raising their eyebrows.

TMZ didn’t seem to think the pair did anything more than hold hands, but OK! Magazine reports an insider saw them kissing at the venue.
Either way, Mauricio and Emma were at dinner to discuss their performance for Most Memorable Year Night on Tuesday. They’re going to perform a Contemporary routine to “Rise Up” by Andra Day. Mauricio chose 1996 for his year and explained the situation to Emma during the dinner date.
“’96 was the year he and Kyle married, he was fired from the fashion industry and he pivoted to real estate — and we’re told that, as a result, they felt far more connected and closer than ever … which, we suppose, explains why they looked like this while exiting,” TMZ wrote.
Perhaps the pair felt emotionally vulnerable with one another and chose to hold hands while leaving the restaurant. But on the other side of things, casual hand-holding isn’t that common among adults who are just friends. Until someone confirms the pair are actually dating, everything is just speculation.
