Mykelti Brown Padron, despite being Christine Brown’s daughter, has always had an allegiance to Robyn Brown. She actually lived with her father’s fourth wife early in their romance. For Mykelti, she was embraced by Robyn so she went to help care for her three children. As the years went by, no matter what happened with Robyn, Kody Brown, and the rest of the family, Mykelti kept her tight connection. This became especially controversial when Christine left the plural marriage and everything was in disarray. Even in recent episodes, Mykelti, her husband, Tony Padron, and their daughter, Avalon made an effort to visit Kody and Robyn.
It was clear that Kody favored this one daughter with his former third wife and she was determined to keep the peace, no matter what. However, has Mykelti had a change of heart and decided to flip the script on Robyn Brown? According to Starcasm, the twenty-seven-year-old took exception to a recent statement that Robyn made about Christine on Sister Wives. She alleged that Kody’s relationships with his children only became bad when Christine exited the family in 2021. That was when Mykelti Padron took to her Patreon to bring out the facts.
“That’s not true! Their relationship started being rough way before COVID and way before mom left. Way before,” Mykelti explained. Prior to this, she did share that the Robyn she sees on the show and the one she personally knows are not the same. This was after she got messages asking how she could be so faithful to someone who is so awful. In real life, she is actually very kind so she is having a hard time figuring out who the real Robyn is.
Confronting Dad
Though it does seem that Mykelti Brown Padron honors her father and all of his actions, apparently that is not true. She shared that she does not always agree with Kody and has no problem telling him when he is wrong. These are just not things that fans see but maybe they should. She has gotten a lot of hate for being neutral when it comes to Kody and Robyn. Yet, Christine has acknowledged that her daughter has a very different relationship with Robyn than the other children. Robyn was even there for the births of Mykelti’s children. At the same time, it is great to see Mykelti finally calling her father’s fourth wife out when she is spreading falsehoods.
