‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Gives Relationship Update With Sons
Sister Wives star Kody Brown is giving an update on his strained relationship with his sons. Things have been progressively getting worse but the show was filmed over a year ago. Has anything changed since then or is it all the same? Read on for more details.
Sister Wives Kody Brown Gives Relationship Update With Sons
Since the pandemic, Sister Wives fans have watched the demise of Kody Brown’s relationships with his children. His sons with his second wife, Janelle Brown, took it the hardest, mainly Gabriel and Garrison. They did not appreciate a lot that was going on, the division of the plural family and how much time he was spending with his fourth wife. More so, Gabe and Garrison knew that he wanted Janelle to kick them out of her house. Kody believed that both Janelle and his third wife, Christine Brown were not obeying the pandemic rules properly.
The final straw, mainly for Gabriel was when Kody got Covid and called his son to talk about symptoms. However, the same day Kody called happened to be Gabe’s birthday and it was not even acknowledged. Hours later, Kody called back and finally said something. Kody has said he and the boys need therapy and according to E!, Kody opens up in the Sunday, October 15th episode. “I’ve reached out to Garrison and Gabriel. I reached out to them just before Christmas and I reached out to them after. No, they’re blocking me,” he shares.
Kody Brown goes on to say: “They’re not interested in talking to me.” In the same episode, some family has gathered at Garrison’s new home. He is chatting about renting rooms out to Gabriel and Christine’s daughter, Gwendlyn. As he is talking, he has this to note: “Since I last talked to Dad, I bought a house, I’ve gotten into school and I got the car that I wanted, that he told me I should never get. He further explains to Christine that Kody just does not care.
The Distanced Dad
Christine Brown, who left Kody Brown in 2021, was livid a few episodes back. Kody had gotten into a fight with Janelle Brown which resulted in him not contacting Savanah for Christmas. She is the youngest daughter of Kody and Janelle. It burned Christine up that Kody lives half an hour away and could not be bothered to come see or even call. More so, when Christine’s three daughters came in from Utah to see their dad, they could have come home with gifts for Savanah.
Janelle feels that he can be a great father to his younger kids but struggles with the older ones. However, Robyn maintains that he has a strong relationship with his older children. Unfortunately, she blames Christine’s departure on changing that. At the same time, Kody’s sons have some issues with Robyn because of their problems with their dad.
