‘The View’ Host Gets Slammed For Calling Out Taylor Swift
One of The View hosts is being slammed after calling out Taylor Swift. The singer has been making headlines for a long time, but fans are particularly invested in her newest love story. Taylor has recently been linked to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. While the pop culture space is obsessing over this potential couple, one of the hosts of The View has an unpopular opinion. Keep reading to find out who said what.
Though Travis and Taylor have been pictured together plenty of times by now, some fans are still skeptical. They are eager to know whether this relationship is real. Sara is someone who has a platform and is ready to share her take.
The View host has another platform to speak out on.
In addition to being on the daily talk show, Sara appears on The View: Behind the Table podcast. Despite discussing many huge news and pop culture stories on the podcast, she didn’t talk about Taylor and Travis right after the rumored couple began making headlines. The decision not to discuss this huge story prompted executive producer Brian Teta to question Sara. She went on to explain herself, calling out the singer.
Sara Haines shares her true thoughts on Taylor Swift.
Brian explained to Sara, “It was a specific Hot Topic that I felt was important for us to touch on because, you know, the entire world is talking about it today and it’s pop culture and it’s interesting.” It sounds like The View host disagreed, however.
On the podcast, Sara continued chatting about Taylor’s budding romance with Travis. She explained, “This is a PR stunt, this whole thing, and I’m just not that interested in it because it just feels like you’re giving air to a publicity stunt and she does not need more expensive concert tickets that are hard to get, like she’s good, like we’re good!”
This is why Sara Haines originally chose not to say anything.
Of course, at this point, it’s unclear whether Travis and Taylor are truly dating or if this is a publicity stunt. Many fans think they are together and think there is plenty of evidence. But Sara Haines is not yet convinced.
On X, fans and critics are blasting Sara Haines for this take. Many disagree with her and believe that neither Taylor Swift nor Travis Kelce needs a PR stunt. They are both successful, famous, and wealthy as is, several fans said.
