‘Today’ Al Roker Replaced, What Happened?

Al Roker is gone & replaced by Dylan Dreyer.
On Monday, during the third hour of the show, Al was missing. Dylan Dreyer filled in for him and was joined by Sheinelle Jones and Craig Melvin. Craig announced to Today viewers: “Al’s off because he’s celebrating his anniversary.”
Al was absent for a very good reason. He took the day off so he could celebrate his wedding anniversary with his wife, Deborah Roberts from Good Morning America. Fortunately, fans have nothing to worry about.
On their anniversary, Al took to Instagram to share a touching message to his wife. He also posted several pictures of the two of them on their wedding day nearly three decades ago.
He wrote, “28 years ago, @debrobertsabc promised to be there for better, for worse, thick and thin. Good times and Bad. But the greatest gift is the family she has given me. Happy Anniversary, sweetheart.”

Al wasn’t the only one to post on their anniversary. Deborah Roberts shared her own tribute to her hubby. She wrote, “It has been one great adventure. This last year has taught us to cherish each moment.”
