Ariana Madix was never just a bartender at Villa Blanca or SUR. She rode horses and wanted to be famous. There was a time when she talked about taking sketch comedy very seriously. Additionally, she modeled with her then-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval and they had fun with it. Now, her life has shifted in so many ways. Madix has gotten a plethora of endorsement deals since she was cheated on by Sandoval and was on the cover of Glamour. Furthermore, she joined Season 32 of DWTS after years of wanting to be on the show. Yet, she has one more undertaking that will blow people away when they see her.
According to The Sun, Ariana Madix is absolutely unrecognizable in the Lifetime film, Buying Back My Daughter. The 38-year-old will be playing a cop, in full getup and it is an insane change of pace. It is a film based on a true story so obviously, Madix had to take the role very seriously and do it justice. As Officer Karen, Madix: “helps investigate the case and has a personal connection to the story.” This role allowed her to be away from the home that she shares with Tom Sandoval. She was able to have some space and channel her energy elsewhere.
Normally, she is seen with her blonde locks either in a sleek bob or, more recently, in long extensions. However, in this film, she is very serious with a bun and uniform. It was probably the perfect role for her to channel all of her ‘Scandoval’ anger while honing her acting chops. Now, fans will get to see a whole new side of Madix and maybe this will open new doors for her in the acting world.
Onto The Dance Floor
While the film gets set to premiere, Ariana Madix is preparing for her dancing debut. She has shown herself in the studio, practicing for the upcoming season of DWTS, which begins September 26th. Additionally, Madix had been enjoying her newfound love, Daniel Wai, a fitness guru from NYC. It seems that all of these new and amazing doors are opening for her and she is happily walking through them.
