Season 27 of The View is in full swing but Whoopi Goldberg actually was not there when the show returned. She had fallen ill but when she came back, she was ready to roll. Now, she is back to her old self saying whatever pops into her head no matter who it offends or how it may come off. This was the case the other day when she asked Alyssa Farah Griffin if she was expecting. Of course, Griffin was taken aback as she did not expect such a question. She did note that it would thrill her family but she wanted to know why Goldberg would ask that.

Whoopi claimed she saw a glow and wondered. According to The Sun, fans were not happy with what had happened and let the moderator know this. “Whoopi I love ya but that was inappropriate #theview,” one wrote. Another added: “I’m still laughing because this was so unhinged lmao #theview.” So, did Whoopi finally find a way to make this wrong a right? In the moment, the actress and comedian did see that she had made a fatal error and Alyssa was not having it.

As aforementioned, she had this to say: “I just got a vibe. I’m so sorry.” Alyssa was a team player and did seemingly act like it was completely fine. Whoopi went on to add: “Forgive me. I see-. You have this glow.” Alyssa said that she would take the “glow” comment and seemed happy to do so. She also shared that she would be taking a test when she got home as she has been trying. Maybe Whoopi’s vibe was spot on.

Bad Timing

When Whoopi Goldberg initially asked Alyssa Farah Griffin about being pregnant, it was not even in context. They were having a conversation regarding politics. So, it literally came out of left field. Again, fans were extremely uncomfortable with this exchange, especially with Whoopi asking Alyssa on national television. That was deemed highly inappropriate. Then, there was one follower who felt that maybe Alyssa was already pregnant but did not want to come out and say it. Only time will tell what that “glow” actually meant.
