June couldn’t do anything on her own due to her weight. She used food as a way to cope with the death of her son, Mack. Fortunately, Dr. Now turned her life around. With the help of exercise, diet, and bariatric surgery, she shed 201 pounds. She also found inspiration to keep working hard when she entered a relationship with a woman named Mary. According to the former My 600-lb Life star, she wanted to drop to 211 pounds before their wedding. Her last reported weight was 221 lbs, which is only a few pounds from her goal.

June Got Married After The Show

After her successful weight loss journey, June McCamey decided to walk down the aisle with Mary in July 2019. June McCamey remains discreet regarding her four kids. However, she’s still mourning the tragic death of her son, Mack. In 2021, she paid tribute to her son on the 10th anniversary of his passing. According to her, she stands strong every day for her son, but she still struggles to let go of the pain. Her mother also passed away in 2021. But she never went back into her past habit of overeating to deal with heartbreaks.
