‘Bachelorette’ Star Charlie Newling Dead Age 36

The Bachelorette star Charlie Newling is dead at the age of 36. The Sun shared the shocking news of his death today. This is just eight weeks after he welcomed a new baby into his life. He had a baby girl with his partner Kristal Taylor just eight weeks ago. Charlie also had a 13-year-old son from a previous relationship. He was working as a builder at the time of his death.

How Did Charlie Newling Die?

Charlie Newling of The Bachelorette Australia 2018 died after his car fell from a cliff in Dover Heights in Sydney. There is no word on if this was accidental or if it was on purpose. The car did burst into flames after being driven off the cliff.

Charlie Newling’s Past

Last year, he was charged with threatening to torture and kill his stepdad. He actually sent 37 text messages with these threats in them. Some of these messages were to his mother. He did spend one month in custody over these charges and then served the remainder of his 13-month prison sentence in the community. He also was convicted of drunk driving back in 2021.

Ones of the messages said, “What if I’m outside right now… Reckon the cops can come that quick… I know where you live, where you work where you eat where you sleep. For all you know I’m in your backyard right now.” They got worse as one said, “I’d rather do life in jail to kill that p**** than live the life that you’ve both given me… His throat will be slit the next time he tries to go to work… or maybe when he’s at work… Or maybe when he’s taking the bins out… I know all your movements.”

The another one said, “I hope you’ve got a good guard dog because the cops aren’t going to do s**t even with an AVO on me. They’re not gonna sit outside your house. How’s it feel knowing your C*** of a husband has a knife coming to his neck, you have no idea where or when.”

Charlie’s Demons

An insider shared that he had some demons he dealt with before death. A friend told Daily Mail Australia, “Charlie’s demon was meth a few years back. Because of it he said his wiring in his brain was screwed. He got off meth in 2020. He went to Queensland to escape meth and found himself on an Aboriginal tribe land.” Charlie also went to rehab in 2022 and they said his biggest addiction was booze.
