Could Reba McEntire’s ‘The Hammer’ Have A Sequel?
The Hammer on Lifetime stars Reba McEntire as a judge and fans loved seeing Reba in this role. She replaced a judge who passed away and now fans are wondering if this movie could end up with a sequel. Would you like to see The Hammer 2 or even see it as a limited series?
Reba McEntire’s Movie The Hammer
Reba played Judge Kim Wheeler in this Lifetime movie. She was joined by Melissa Peterman and Rex Linn, which made for a great cast. She was one of the few traveling judges left in America. Her nickname was The Hammer. Her sister runs the local brothel and that makes for an interesting twist. She has to clear her name and that made for a great story that needs to be told.
This movie does reair on Lifetime randomly and is also streaming if you missed the chance to watch it the first time around.
Could It Get A Sequel
So far, there is no word out about a sequel of The Hammer, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Lifetime has done a few sequels now and then. Reba and Melissa Peterman work great together so they would love the opportunity to do another movie together. Reba is very busy right now, though. She is working on The Voice as a new judge in the upcoming season.
Not sure if this is old news or not, but I’ve seen people mentioning that “The Hammer” is now on Hulu #Reba #TheHammer pic.twitter.com/Gl2iwaVhCv

Melissa and Reba have also reunited on Young Sheldon as well. They starred opposite each other on the sitcom Reba and fans loved them together. This movie was a great way to see them together once again.
Reba said that there are a ton of stories to tell and that it could have easily have been a limited series or there could have been a sequel. She would love to do more of these stories about Judge Kim. Now, fans are just going to have to wait and see if it ends up happening. It sounds like if it is up to Reba McEntire then The Hammer will get a sequel. She wants to do more with this character.

I would love to see The Hammer 2 & a series of the movie. Reba and Melissa were wonderful!
Yes I think the Hammer should be a series.
Yes yes yes!! need more more Reba!!
Yes! This NEEDS to be a series!!
please make this into a series
Yes, please
Would love The Hammer have a second or even a third movie. While I’m sure Reba is quite busy, let’s see if she can squeeze in another Hammer.
Would watch this as a series. Please make it happen.
YES. Either a number of movies or as a limited weekly series. Everything about the movie worked. I’m surprised it didn’t happen yet. Worked way better than the forgettable series she starred in with Peterman about being a bar owner.
I just finished watching Reba McEntire in The Hammer again, I believe this should be made into a series, think of all the twists, turns that could surface and the fans waiting for each new episode, if the powers to be are involved and listening, you will give up a superb series that will draw her fans in, as well as others that enjoy her snappy comments and works hard to put the bad ones where they belong. Please make the series, you will make money and entertain all of us.
