Jenelle Evans Dealing With CPS, Concerns For Runaway Son
In the past month, Jenelle Evans’ son, Jace, 14, has run away twice. There were two instances and each time, it caused a lot of concern. Jenelle initially said the first time was due to him getting his phone taken away. Then it was reported he had gotten into a fight with a teacher at school and that caused him to flee. He was found safely but it happened all over again not too long after. Jenelle’s mother, Barbara tried to allege that it all had to do with Jace being taken off of medication and not seeing his therapist. This was a claim that Jenelle vehemently denied and said her mother knew nothing.
Now, she is seeking a protective order against Barbara but it also seems CPS is knocking at Jenelle Evans’ door. According to @createchaosgossip, this is not the first or second time that Jace has run away. In fact, it was his behavioral issues that made Barbara want to turn over custody to Jenelle. She had full custody since Jace was a baby but earlier this year, Jenelle got it back. Of course, after the first incident of him running away, Jenelle’s husband, David Eason went crazy on followers. He claimed he was out searching for Jace, nearly getting heatstroke until he was told to go home.

Fans immediately took to Reddit to discuss this. One wrote: “After 14 years of not having your child, and previous cps run ins, and everything else these bat sh*t crazy people got going on, I have a feeling CPS was involved anyways and if they werent they should’ve been 🤣.” There were many who seconded this but also questioned the OP and their source.
What’s Next?
Though there is no telling if this is completely accurate or not, many fans are hoping that it is. At the same time, Jenelle Evans must now go to court to prove that she needs protection from Barbara. That she has caused emotional distress to both her and Jace. If that does not happen then Barbara can go about her business and say and do whatever she wants. However, the family needs to figure out what is best for Jace so that he does not get into any more trouble.
