‘Magnum P.I.’ Has Exciting New Trailer For Final Season [Video]
Ready to ‘turn up the aloha’? Magnum P.I. Season 5, Part 2 is coming soon. NBC has released the teaser video and it promises to shock fans. There promises to be a lot of action, and a few surprises that could forever alter the titular character’s life.
Here are all the details including how to watch this series, when NBC and Peacock will premiere the first episode, and what fans should expect this explosive final season.
‘Turn Up The Aloha’ Magnum P.I. Trailer Is Here
On Tuesday, NBC released a teaser video for Magnum P.I. Season 5, Part 2. The network’s tagline is, “Turn up the aloha, Magnum P.I. returns.
Looks like Magnum and Higgins need to have a little conversation. She tells him, “I’m late.” That sort of conversation can only mean one thing. There must be a baby on the way!
But first, the two have to fight a few criminals and solve some cases. Somewhere in there, they will find time to have a personal life and figure out what is next.
As NBC pulled the plug on Season 6, that will have to be soon. There will be the final 10 episodes of the updated action series that was based on the beloved Tom Selleck classic show.
Magnum P.I. Is Modern Twist On Classic Series
This series stars Jay Hernandez, who portrays Thomas Magnum, a former Navy Seal who is taking his accomplishments in Afghanistan and using his skills as a private investigator in gorgeous Hawaii. He lives at the Robin’s Nest estate but in a cottage alongside the stately home. There, he has another side hustle as a security consultant.
Magnum’s nemesis, now lover is Juliet Higgins. This is the major twist from the OG. Portrayed by Perdita Weeks, she is a former M16 agent. Now, she is the majordomo for the Robin Masters Hawaiian estate. From the beginning, she has been a thorn in his side.
However, she eventually became something much more. This romance has been a slow burn until this final season. Therefore, longtime viewers have a lot of expectations of what they want to see before it ends.
Also starring is Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Amy Hill, and Tim King.

The premiere of Magnum P.I. Season 5, Part 2 is on Wednesday, October 4, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on NBC.
In addition, each episode will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
