‘Golden Bachelor’ Jesse Palmer Says Age Didn’t Slow Them Down
The premiere season of The Golden Bachelor is already done filming and host Jesse Palmer is talking a bit about it. Gerry Turner and his 22 beautiful ladies reportedly didn’t slow down as many thought they might. Jesse revealed that no naps were taken and the party didn’t end at ten at night. Age definitely did not slow anyone down. Keep reading to see what Jesse had to say about these incredible ladies and the leading man.
Golden Bachelor host Jesse Palmer says age didn’t slow anyone down
E!News shared what Golden Bachelor host Jesse Palmer had to say about the incredible women looking for love with Gerry Turner. The man of the hour will be starting his journey with 22 women and will narrow them all down one by one until two are remaining. Just as in any other season of The Bachelor, Gerry will have a final rose ceremony and choose one lucky woman to pursue a future with.
Jesse has nothing but amazing things to say about these women and Gerry himself. Normally limo entrances are nerve-wracking. However, he called these women rock stars saying they just shine in everything they do. He said, “One of the things I’ve really enjoyed about this group of women? They are so much more confident getting out of the limo on night one—unlike anything I’ve ever seen.”
What else surprised Jesse? This group of ladies including Gerry partied hard. There were no naps taken and age just didn’t matter. They brought the energy. Jesse said,
The night does not end at 10 p.m. like I thought it might—only because people were a little bit older, maybe they wouldn’t be able to stay up as late. People know that first night at the mansion is the longest night in television—period. I mean, normally that goes from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m., and it is an all-nighter and they are rollin’. And I’ll say this—having been on it now for a couple years—a lot of these young kids, they talk a lot of game but inevitably you see them on the couch passed out taking little naps here and there. There were no naps taken on The Golden Bachelor. They partied hard, and they went from sundown to sunup.
What does Jesse think of Gerry?
Jesse didn’t give up any spoilers other than saying they are all incredible. However, he did share his thoughts on Gerry Turner. He said Gerry is so humble and appreciative of the opportunity.
Everyone is cheering on Gerry to find love again after he lost his wife rather suddenly in 2017. Jesse revealed he nearly cried every time Gerry talked about her and the life they had built together. He said it’s so touching and so amazing to know the kind of love they shared. He hopes to have that one day with his own wife, Emely.
Jesse went on to say that Gerry’s family is also amazing. Talking to them all, they are all just great.
Jesse also raved about the speeches Gerry gave throughout the show. He said at the rose ceremonies he just nailed it and was the best at speeches that he has ever seen.
Everyone is excited to see Gerry’s journey on The Golden Bachelor. The show will premiere on September 28 on ABC.
