Why Is Jane Kilcher On ‘Bering Sea Gold’ Season 16?

Why is Jane Kilcher on Bering Sea Gold?
Here is why Jane Kilcher is on Season 16.
Why Is Jane Kilcher On Bering Sea Gold?
Why would Alaska: The Last Frontier star Jane Kilcher help out on Bering Sea Gold? Firstly, she is professional in fishing salmon, she knows her way around a boat in the Bering Sea. This Alaskan native is a natural fit.
In addition, she is in the series because Emily Riedel is her best friend. When they were filming, Emily and her husband Alex Trokey just had their baby daughter, Evelyn Isobel Trokey. Moreover, the two hang out a lot together. This gave the Discovery cameras a natural crossover.
But Jane Kilcher is still pretty green. Jane may be a tough woman on the homestead, but this form of gold mining, with the cold weather and ice, creates some challenging conditions. Gold miners like her bestie Emily Riedel make it look easy. But both agree, this is a challenge.
On Facebook, Jane wrote, “This one’s going to be a wild ride!” However, Emily Riedel warned, “On a scale of 1-10 craziness this season was a 12. And on a Jane 1-10 fun scale it was a 0. Stay tuned.”
