‘On Patrol Live’: Rumors Fly Spectrum Dropped Reelz Channel

On Patrol: Live Dan Abrams [Reelz | YouTube]

The rumors are flying that Spectrum has dropped Reelz channel from their lineup and that you can’t watch On Patrol Live anymore. If you have Spectrum, you may be wondering if this is true. So what is really going on?

Did Spectrum Drop Reelz Channel?

The reality is that Spectrum did not drop Reelz channel, but instead, they changed what package it is in. This means that you are going to have to pay for a more expensive package to watch the show if you are on the lower one. Some viewers already have the package that includes On Patrol Live, but others are going to have to upgrade to get it. You can see the letter that they sent out about it in the tweet below. It shares the details.

Spectrum has been replying on Twitter that they don’t know anything about the channel being removed. That is probably because it wasn’t actually removed, though. You still have the option to get Reelz channel and On Patrol Live, but you may have to pay more for it.

This big change is actually going to happen on September 13, 2023. If you notice you no longer have Reelz after this time, then you may need to call in and add it to your package or find another option to watch the show.

How Can Spectrum Customers Watch On Patrol Live?

Next week, there are reruns of On Patrol Live airing on Reelz channel. After that, new episodes will return. If you are on Spectrum and want to watch this show, you will need to make sure you have the right package.

Another option is to subscribe to Peacock. Reelz channel is live on there so you will still have commercials, but it is a very small fee to subscribe to this streaming service. It is only $11.99 a month. This is worth it to a lot of people to watch On Patrol Live and might actually be cheaper than upgrading your Spectrum account to the bigger plan. There are also some specials available if you pay yearly instead, but these seem to change from time to time. You do need the Peacock Premium to be able to watch On Patrol Live and the Reelz channel.

Are you glad to hear that you can still watch On Patrol Live on Reelz with Spectrum? Sound off in the comments below and don’t miss new episodes on Friday and Saturday nights.
