Is It True Love For Bergie And Taylor?
Carston “Bergie” Bergersen has had some trouble finding a genuine connection on Season 5 of Love Island USA. Regardless of his love troubles, he has become a fan favorite for his kindness and respect. All of Bergie’s fellow islanders love him as well and want the best for him. Taylor Smith recently came into the picture as she is coupled up with Bergie. Could their connection be genuine? Is it true love for Bergie and Taylor?
Trouble In Paradise
Love Island USA fans have watched Carston try to make connection after connection only to get let down every time. Fans especially felt bad for Bergersen when fellow islander Carmen Kocourek acted like she was into him only to let him down once she was safe on the island, which didn’t sit well with a lot of people. Also, during the Casa Amor experience, it seemed Bergie Bergersen liked a few of the girls who showed up. Taylor Smith then arrived at the villa and the two seemed to hit it off pretty well. Fans were a spectacle of the relationship between Carston and Taylor at first considering he seemed to jump at any interest shown towards him. However, once viewers started to see Taylor and Bergie’s relationship blossom, they started to fall in love with them together.

Grandpa Bergie Doesn’t Approve
In the latest episode, the islanders received videos from their friends and family members back home. Taylor Smith’s mom was super supportive of her and Bergie’s relationship. Her mom also stated that he was Taylor’s type. Fans also saw Bergie’s dad and grandmother being supportive of the relationship as well. Islanders and fans were taken aback when Grandpa Bergie voiced his concerns about the true feelings of the relationship. Screen Rant made sure to point out that Taylor would not have been as upset about his grandfather’s reaction if her feelings weren’t genuine. Smith was shown breaking down and crying in her interview. Taylor explained how she wanted to be accepted by his family and couldn’t help but be hurt by what was said. Fans do think she will be able to prove her true feelings for Bergersen once the show has ended.
Fans think if Taylor was not genuine with Bergie, she would not have acted the way she did about Grandpa Bergie’s disapproval.
